Yesterday I had the privilege of taking our Crotchet Crew to represent the College at the Anglican Schools Corporation Choral Festival. The day was a wonderful opportunity for our students to showcase their learning in choir so far as they performed Tic Tac, and to meet with other students, and hear an excellent array of performances from other schools. The combined item was a wonderful showcase of unity, through beautiful music making. Crotchet Crew, well done! You did our College proud.
I am constantly in awe of how our students 'bring it' and rise to the occasion. Our recent Athletics Carnival was evidence of this. The sportsmanship on display was commendable, and it was lovely to see students encouraging each other in athletic pursuits and entering events to earn points for their House.
Our College offers a wide array of opportunity for our students, but that also comes with the commitment of you, our families! Today is a thank you to you, for the way that you juggle the week to ensure your child can benefit from what the College offers. Thank you for the extra early morning wake ups, the later pickups, the reminders to grab an instrument / sporting gear as you rush out the door, and for taking time off work when possible to support your child. We love working in partnership with you.
