Last week, it was such a joy to welcome so many of our fathers, grandfathers, and father figures to the annual Father’s Day Breakfast. The morning was filled with laughter, conversation, and a real sense of connection, as families came together to celebrate the important role that dads and mentors play in the lives of our students. Moments like these remind us that our school is more than a place of learning. It is a community where relationships are nurtured, and memories are made.

I want to sincerely thank our Primary staff for their care and effort in organising such a welcoming and smooth-running event. Their dedication ensured the breakfast was a meaningful experience for all. A special thank you also goes to our Parents & Friends Committee for their work in preparing the Father’s Day Stall. Watching students thoughtfully choose gifts for their loved ones was a delight, and it created a lovely opportunity for them to express gratitude in a tangible and personal way.

As we move into our final two weeks of term, it is natural to notice that both students and staff are feeling the cumulative effects of a busy term. Energy can dip, routines can feel a little harder to maintain, and focus may waver. To support families at this stage, we encourage a few simple strategies to help students finish the term well: keeping consistent routines, breaking tasks into manageable steps, celebrating small successes, prioritising wellbeing, and asking for help when needed. These approaches are not only about learning, rather they are about helping our children navigate this busy period with confidence, resilience, and positivity.

Across our classrooms, students are continuing to engage in projects, assessments, and creative tasks that highlight their growth and learning. Behind the scenes, our teachers are working tirelessly to guide, encourage, and challenge each child with care, ensuring that every student is supported both academically and personally.

Looking ahead, we have several exciting events to enjoy before the end of term. Stage 1 and Year 3 students will participate in their day camps, Year 5 will attend leadership training, and we will also come together as a community to farewell and celebrate our Year 12 students. These occasions provide opportunities for students to shine, to connect with friends, and to celebrate the effort and growth they have invested over the term and throughout their schooling.

Through it all, we are reminded of the values that shape our community. As a College, we remain committed to nurturing not only academic growth but also the wellbeing of our students, grounding everything we do in Christ’s example of love, service, and care for others.

Thank you, as always, for your ongoing support and encouragement. It is a privilege to partner with you in guiding and nurturing the young people entrusted to our care.
