KABOOM Music Incursion
On Friday 20 June, Years 4, 5 and 7 were treated to an amazing incursion performance presented by Kaboom Percussion. Students learnt about countless ways to create, play and compose with percussion instruments, including both tuned and untuned percussion such as cajons, bucket drums, Boomwhacker xylophones, and even a pig squeezy toy piano – my personal favourite. We look forward to further engaging educational activities in music through 2025 and witnessing how students incorporate these ideas into their classroom activities in Semester 2.
