Following their learning about Penguins through the text 'Chooks in Dinner Suits', Year 2 took part in The Australian Antarctic Festival by creating a painted penguin rookery. As part of the festival in August, the students were asked to create a design about protecting penguins and their habitats. It was wonderful to see our students working so hard on their artworks, then to have them on display in Tasmania with entries from over 200 schools across the world. Well done to all of Year 2, we hope your conservation work continues to shine a light on Penguins, their habitats, and the Antarctic.
